STONED BRANDING

To celebrate VICELAND's support of the legalisation of Weed, a parody of the Discovery channel's Shark Week was created called Weed Week. It was a week of weed based entertainment and documentaries that aimed to expel myths about Cannabis. A show was created in the UK, in which a scientist recorded the effects of weed on people in social situations.

 

For example the effect of weed on speed dating, your ability to interview anti-weed politicians on TV and other tasks. We were briefed to create the branding, title sequence and in-show graphic for this show. 

We created a visual identity based upon humorous abstractions of weed-based experiments on humans and their body parts.

 

We isolated and repeated human body parts, placing them in a production line of weed science experiments, mixing it with surreal illustrations of humans taking part in ridiculous weed-based experiments.
